85o R wagon child seat and owners man. 850 1996

I just bought a '96 850R wagon and was dismayed to find that there is no fold-down child seat in the middle of the back seat. My '95 850 turbo wagon had one, and my youngest loved it. Am I missing something? Am I being particularly stupid today (not unheard of)? One other question, please... The 850R came with a slick looking leather covered folder that says 850R (not surprising) on the front, but there was nothing in the folder. I got the regular owners manual, but what was supposed to come in the leather folder? Thanks in advance. JK

The Leather folder on my 97 855r has the maintenence records along with warranty info, pirelli warranty, and "Volvo on call" info & some other booklets, I cant recall what??? Tim.

At some point they deleted the option. Our 94 had one. There was not one available for our 98. Sounds like the lawyers had something to do with it.

The child booster seat is an 850 option. I have a tan one that I'm not using. There is currently another one (not tan) on ebay.
