Replaced wheel bearings now brakes make noise? V70-XC70 2001

Just replaced both front wheel hubs on my 2001 V 70 XC and now the drivers side brake is getting hot and making a lot of intermittent squealing. The passenger side is also making some noise but nothing to serious sounding. They were not making any noise when I started with the replacement. They are also getting very hot after a short 10 or 15 mile drive.

When I took the calipers off I did compress the pistons to make it easier to put it back on.

Any suggestions?

It is not your new hubs, but probably something on the brake that is not working. Did you grease the slide pins? The inboard pad is seated firmly inside the piston?

Jack up the left front and turn the wheel. The rubbing should be consistent for the entire turn. Pull the wheel and check the spring clip.
