90,000 mile tune-up S60

What would the dealer replace on a 2004 S60R for a 90,000 mile tune-up?

The warning message for "Regular Tune-up" just came on at 88,900 miles. I figured I would wait abit for 90,000 miles since this is a VOLVO major tune-up interval.

Besides the plugs and fuel filter, do the direct ignition coils have to be replaced, or do these usually last much longer?

Thanks in advance...

What is NOT listed in the maintenance schedule is a tranny flush and Haldex flush/filter. These two are very important.
Coil packs will last longer than 90K. If in doubt, get online and buy a spare because they don't all fail at once.

Thanks, Klaus....

She's mainly my weekend car up to the wine country and after 1 year of ownership, I don't have any complaints. I know that some people don't fit into them, but I'm a small guy so I fit perfect. And she's a rocket compared to my '95 850T!

Upon purchase, only two items concerned my mechanic; the tranny fluid color and torn upper spring seats. I fixed both right away and switched to synthetic. She runs great.

Good link for service intervals. I don't really have much to do.

I usually consider tranny flushes every 30,000 miles. Should the Haldex happen at the same time?

Dan

The intervals really depend on driving conditions. I spend a lot of time on interstates so 50K miles for both works for me.
