Power Seat Not Working V70-XC70 1999

Just got myself a 1999 V70. The driver's seat was in really rough shape, so I junked up a pair of leather front seats, with a power seat for the driver's side, since all the connectors under the seat were there. Only problem is that the seat doesn't work! Everything is hooked up nice and snug, of course. My worry is that this car simply can't run a power seat, since I don't see the fuse #39 (circuit breaker?) in the fuse panel -- only 36 fuses! However, that doesn't seem right, since I'm getting 12 volts at the white lead to the module under the seat. So I suspect the switch module is probably bad. Before I eBay one up, can anyone help me confirm that this is the problem?

Power Seat Not Working V70-XC70 1999

I put an 850 power seat in my 544.

It only takes two wires to run it - I connect the switches and two leads (one fused) to the battery to adjust the seat!

Power Seat Not Working -- SOLVED V70-XC70 1999

Solved. And might I add...um...duh. Pulled the top off of the fuse box to find that circuit breaker #39 is not present, sending the seat into a constant "trouble mode." Swapped the breaker for the windows into that slot, and presto -- the seat works fine.

Anyone reading this will have to excuse me: I went from having a car with a four page wiring diagram ('90 240 -- Circuit breakers? In a car? What do you mean by that?) to one with a 130 page wiring diagram. Still getting used to the complexities of the thing...
