Hi all.

-99 V70 with 180k. Have a couple of very rusty rear bumper "brackets", the ones that hold the whole bumper assembly, if you will, to the frame of the car.
The left one is completely rusted off and the right not too far behind...
The bumper is sort of resting on the exhaust pipe. That's how I noticed it..:)
Any idea where parts like this can be found...? Other than Volvo ($$$) or junkyard...

Thanks Klaus. Yeah, after looking everywhere at various junkyards with no results, I finally went to Volvo.. $29/bracket +hardware. Came to appx $90 with tax included.. Looks sharp again..

Not all dealer parts are outrageous. When in doubt, paint the new parts with rustolium for better protection from salt.

Give Erie Vovo a call, they might have a pair that are rust free. Of course, you will need new bolts.
