S70 Turbo 1999 What to look for S70

Hi all--
There's tons of great info on this site! Love it. Been missing Volvo since I had to get rid of my 1994 940.
Looking at a 1999 S70 AWD Turbo tomorrow with 120K miles. Timing belt done at 104K, just had tune up and new oxygen sensor, new routers (?), fluids flushed, passed inspection back in January. Asking $2,000

My questions are...anything that I should be looking for when I go see it? There is a big tear in the driver's seat...can the seat be easily swapped? Or should I just get a seat cover. Also, I'm a little worried about having a turbo...I know theres a lot more plumbing for the turbo...any issues/when do the issues usually arise?

Thanks in advance!
~Elias

I would assume rotors, not routers.

The turbo is a low pressure unless it has T5 on the trunk lid. The only problem would be a turbo oil return seal, which is easily repaired.

A 'tune up' is just spark plugs. The engine has individual coil on each plug.

Replacing an O2 sensor probably means that the PTC nipple needs to be cleaned, not a fun job but required on all turbos. If the engine is not using synthetic oil, do so. Conventional oil breaks down too easily and leaves varnish/sludge everywhere.

The seat can easily be swapped, 1998-2000 S/V70s. If it is just the seat bottom, the skin from a passenger seat can be used. The seat back skin cannot be swapped due to the extra hole for the lumbar knob and the seat air bag. The seat air bag is not electrical, just don't hit or drop the seat on the primer button!
