850 headliner 850 1995

The headliner in this car is loose pretty much all the way around the edge.
Seriously considering finding a piece of insulated wire big enough to pinch the fabric
into the groove. Sould like it would work? BTW it is OK around the sunroof.

Headliners are not forever. The entire unit can be removed through the trunk, much easier to deal with than on previous Volvo generations. You can get kits and redo the whole thing. If you decide to do it yourself, there are Volvo instructions on removal.

Actually this headliner looks pretty good except it has come loose almost all the way
around, so if I can find a way to tuck it back in it should be good for a few more years.
This is a 4-door sedan so I suspect it won't come out through the trunk....

Actually it will. Just lay rear seats down and it will go through the large hole. At least that is what my Green Volvo manual says.

For spot repair try 3M Marine Adhesive #5200. Used it for a small spot on my 850's sunroof headliner and my 240's exterior moldings. Takes about 24-48 hours to set but once it does it will not come off!
