Both of my front low beams went out and I received the Multiple Bulb failure. I have not checked the lights bulbs yet but the fuses were okay. Would the low beams likely blow at the same time or is it likely something else?

It's certainly possible they went close to the same time. Mine always go within a week or two of each other -- almost like clockwork every 37-40,000 miles.

If they blew out at exactly the same time, I'd suspect something more sinister.

You need to unplug the lights and check for voltage at the plug. Follow the wires and look for a ground wire that may have come loose.
