Seat Rattle S60 2001

Has anyone else noticed a rattle with the passenger seat when driving? The annoying noise does not occur when the seat is occupied, so I’m wondering if it has something to do with the airbag pressure sensor or is something just loose.

Had that problem on driver's side, turns out the seat doesn't always 'seat' properly in track when all the way back, try moving seat forward slightly and if possible do visual check to insure it is secured in both tracks....

Found the problem with the passenger seat rattle. It had to do with the manual lumbar support bar. To fix it, you must tighten it completely, then

loosen it to releive the torque on the lumbar mechanism.

No more rattle.

Try doing up the seatbelt on the P side

Nope. That did not work. It must be something rubbing, but I

can't seem to locate exactly where. The rattle stops when I place

my arm on the back of the seat or put pressure on the seats' back.
