Rotor Size S70

I recently installed a new motor mount in my 98 s70 T5. When I was ordering the part, I noticed that there are 2 different sizes of rotors. I have the smaller of the 2. My questions is this:

1. Which car has the larger version? I assume is the AWD.
2. I need new rotors. Mine are original and have about 120K on them. Can I install the larger on my car?
3. Would I see any difference in braking with the larger rotor?

Thanks for all your help.

Edwin

Rotor Size S70

The larger rotors came in 1999 or later, first on the "R".

In order to use them, you must have at least 16 inch wheels.
The rotor kits come with spacer mounts for the calipers to push the pads farther out.

Make sure your spare is also 16 inch.

a change would require a different caliper or at least the mounts to the caliper ... S70

I'm not an expert on the S70, but I would imagine that if you're thinking of upgrading to a larger brake rotor, that would at least (emphasizing "at least") require repositioning the caliper to accommodate the increased diameter of the rotor -- the brake pad has to follow the increased circumference -- so either you'll also need a different caliper (with possibly larger pads as well to cover the increased swept area), or a different mounting bracket so that the caliper is relocated farther from the hub center, or some other change to the caliper that allows it to fit over the increased diameter brake rotor.
