front passenger side window S70 1998

window won't go down(be glad it's at least up all the way if it's gonna malfunction, right?)....neither switch on that door, or master switch on driver side armrest gets any movement...I do hear a slight "clunk" when either switch is pushed/pulled, some I'm thinking not a fuse issue? car has not been driven in about a month, consequently no window usage...just stuck? or am I looking at a motor replacement? many thanks to all as always..

probably a switch, master or both. common failure. motors rarely fail

It might be stuck? That is possible. Put a hand on the glass and help it push down when you depress the switch. If that works to get it started, spray some silicone in the rails to help it along later, and work the window several times.

There is an overload fuse, but that would prevent all of the other windows from moving, they all use the same large resetable fuse.
