The drivers side front window rubber squeegy makes a quick SNAPing sound when I put the window up from the all-the-way down position. What's the best way to lubricate or service this kind of rubber fitting?

    I use spray silicon.
    Clean the rubber first and then apply the silicon.
    Apply it to a cloth and then rub it on the rubber to avoid overspray.

    I apply a vinyl protective coating to it, and not the shiney ArmorAll junk. Just put some on a paper towel and coat the rubber. Let it dry, and then wipe it off real good so it will not streak the glass.

    I use the same stuff on all rubber parts, including the axle boots.
