Wax on body trim - bad thing? 850 1997

It isn't time for a wax job, but I wanted to ask before hand...

I have a white 850 with grey body trim. I assume that is a surface that is not wax-friendly??? Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Also, assuming I am correct, what would I do to effectively remove all wax traces if I accidentally got some wax on that trim during the wax application/removal?

Think SPRING !

Thanks,

Barry

Try using masking tape (the one used for painting!!) which peels off easily and doesn't leave that glue residue once your job is done. Although I use extreme care when waxing, you never know when Mr. Murphy shows up ;-). You'll hate yourself not taking the extra 10 minutes to tape the trim. Works for me!

    Good luck!

Softscrub with out bleach works well for removing the wax from the non painted surfaces. As far as I know, the only thing on my 850 that likes wax is the paint.
