2000 S70 - Rear window will not roll up S70

As I was getting ready to go to work this morning, I roll down the right rear window ie passenger side from the drivers side window control however it would not go back up. Tried using the switch on the door and still would not go up.
Where should I start the diagnostics and can this be manually raised from behind the door panel? Thanks Mike

Repeatedly pull up on the switch, it might be a dirty contact. The window motor works on polarity, positive amkes it go one way and negative turns the other way. Don't ask me which one :)

You cannot raise the window by hand, so keep working on the switch(s). Make sure the master switch has the rear switches active.

Klaus, is it unlikely that something failed between the master switch and the door switch? Thanks for your replies

One relay, a simple fuse, and an overload fuse. Quite simple really. All of the wiring goes through the master switch in the driver's door. That is usually the fault.

If you can find a helper, pull up on the window as the switch is pulled up. Probably won't do any good...

If there is a good junk yard close to you, 1998-2000 are the same.
