going to look at this wagon what the members think V70-XC70

MOTIVATED TO SELL!! This 2001 V70 wagon has been well maintained! I am a car enthusiast and always keep my automobiles in top condition. A few of the most recent services were Timing Belt replacement, Transmission flush, front L&R Lower Control arms and Front Swaybar End Links. I have all services records available for review during my ownership of this vehicle. Exterior paint is in excellent condition and I regularly condition the leather seats. UPGRADES INCLUDE: IPDusa Stage1 ECU Upgrade, IPDusa Heavy Duty Compressor Bypass Valve, IPDusa HD Ignition Coil Packs, Koni FSD Struts and Shocks, Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, Cold air intake, REMUS Performance Muffler, 18" TSW Sport Wheels, custom black out grill. This is a STRONG running vehicle and gets a lot of looks and compliments driving around town. ALSO INCLUDED: one set of four Volvo 16" wheels with snow tires, original stock air intake and front grill. Roof cross rails and bike racks not included but may be negotiated at time of sale. I have another car on order and need to sell my wagon to make room in my driveway.

I am lookig for another reliable volvo just sold my pilot

Thanks

I have a bias against the 2001&2002 cars, they are brand new and have a history of poor electronics as well as faulty 5 speed trannies.

It sounds like this is a T5 version, with extra bhp from being 'chipped'. Sounds good, but I doubt the early 5 speed autobox can handle it.

It sounds like the owner was an enthusiast that attended to things well. However, the word around here is that the 2001 model year is one to avoid due to inherent transmission problems. Not sure about 2002. I believe 2003-up gets you clear of that issue.
