Hello Kira, i have only gone as far looking at a few websites which are probably the same ones as you have visited. I was hoping someone here could recommend a particular brand so i could avoid the bad ones you mentioned. Unless i hear otherwise i will let you know my experience when i get round to doing the job. David

Hello, FMI (For My Information): Did you find a source for good quality appliques? I've seen maybe two sources for expensive, machined wood retrofit dash panels. The others have been printed paper or vinyl plastic and looked it. Kira

They work. But, it better be warm out, you don't want to even try doing it under 60F. The surface has to be super clean, alcohol is required. Make sure the switches are not covered in case a switch breaks and you need to replace one - pretty hard to pry out when an edge is covered in contact cement.

Once the 'wood' has been applied, never try to remove it.
