S60 Passenger Window twists S60 2004

2004 S60 passenger window twists when it goes down more than a few inches (twists means back part of window goes down more than front). It goes back up just fine.

To find the problem I removed the door panel (thanks to youTube link from Klaus) but am not sure where to go. I figure I pull off the foam stuff to get at the window but want to be sure first so I don't tear something up.

In the meantime, clues to the problem:
Door has always had a rattle in it. With door panel removed and looking in the top I can see part of the window mechanism resting against the window, and a clip on this piece that is just flopping around. Both of these could rattle and it doesn't seem like this is how it should be. The photos show these things, especially the 3rd which has notes and arrows.

So, questions:
1. Do I just pull off that black foam to get at window?
2. Should this window arm thing be resting on the glass, and should that clip thing
3. Is there known reason for window to twist that I should look for?

Pictures to door are linked here.

Thanks for your help,

The black foam is to be removed very carefully, it can tear.

Normally what is wrong with the windows are the blue clips, but yours is in place. I wonder if the hooked bar is supposed to also have a plastic circular clip?

The dealer can fix it for $150-200, or you can stop by the parts department and see what is missing. If the weather is cold, let the dealer fix it.

Leave the window switch connected, you may have to lower the window to position it properly to work on it. Do NOT move the window up or down without the motor doing the movement, the stop positions will be messed up and require 'programming'.

Went behind gray plastic and felt around on the bottom of the door. Found a square blue thing that might have fallen off or may be broken. Added picture of the blue thing to album linked below.

I cannot tell if the clip is broken. In the picture you can see the top is not a complete circle. The plastic at the edges seems kind of strained but not clearly a break.

1. Is this clip broken?
2. Where does the clip (or a replacement) go?

Also found the fuzzy track the window rides along is flopping around, not firmly in its metal track. Not what I would expect but I do not know if it should be in the track all the time or if the window kind of pushes it into places as it goes down.

Thanks,

As for the window track:

That should get you started.
