850 clock and thermometer question 850 1994

Hi, my 1994 850 wagon shows military time on the clock and degrees celsius on the outside thermometer; these readings are at the bottom of the instrument panel by the steering column. Does anyone know how to re-set the clock to hours AM/PM display and thermometer to degrees fahrenheit?

Thanks,
Randoo

Someone disconnected your battery. You are looking at the default displays. To change them, use 2 ball point pens or toothpicks, push both the H and M buttons at the same time until you get the readings you want.

To see the online owner's manual:
    http://www.volvocars.com/us/top/yourvolvo/volvo-vehicle-information-library/pages/default.aspx

Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and plug in your year, model, and which publication you want. A PDF will display, which you can save to your PC.
