No start 850 1994

I have a strange no-start situation. After driving and leaving the car sit over night, next morning it will crank but not start. However, if I return couple of hours later, it starts right up. What is unique to that 1st start in the morning that makes starts not possible? No rain, no extreme cold, nothing out of ordinary regarding the environment where the car sits.

    Cam position sensor is almost always the cause of intermittent no start problems. 10 minutes to replace just a couple screws.

    I would check the fuel injection relay and the crank position sensor. When you turn the key to on do you here the fuel pump run momentarily? If it runs, I check the resistance of the crank sensor first. Good luck. Mike
