Hi all,

I have a 2005 V70 2.5T with about 60,000 miles. It has gotten only fair gas mileage since purchase at 55,000 miles.

I was wondering, how long do spark plugs last in these cars under normal conditions?

Good copper plugs last 60K, unless you use cheap gas that burns hotter and leaves deposits.

I would remove all of yours, clean them and check the gap - .028 and if they look good, apply a small amount if antisieze and put them back in for another 15K.

Why not just change the plugs and and see what happens? look at your air cleaner also. Keeping the old plugs in your car is a good idea.

Having information on spark plug life is of no use if you don't know when the present plugs went in.
