2001 s40 FRONT ROTOR REMOVAL S40-V40

Any one have a suggestion for removing front brake rotors?I am replacing mine and they won't budge off of the hub.I soaked the area where they meet the hub with liquid wrench, tried tapping around the disk but they won't pop off. There is no locating screw on the fronts.
The rear rotors came off easily.Any help is appreciated.

Common problem on lots of cars, move up to a 2 lb ball peen hammer, it always does the trick. However, if you are really unlucky, a 4 pounder will get you there, just inconvient to swing from the floor.

They rust to the hub. Use a short 2X4 and bang it! I used a regular hammer to remove one of the fronts on my 1998 V70 a few years ago. The rotor looked like it went through a war zone!

Remember to clean off the rust on the hub and apply a thin coat of brake grease to the mating surface.

More penetrating oil. Squirt a little into each lugnut hole where it touches the hub.

When my V70 right rotor wouldn't come off, I tried the left one. That fell off. So I went back to the right side and beat the rotor with a 16oz hammer until it broke the rust seal. That old rotor was never be used again!!
