I live in upstate new york. I was leaving my hillside driveway this morning and it was slippery, i was sliding so i hit the brakes quick and let off then went onto the road, as i did the transmission arrow began to flash and the transmission doesnt seem to have full power. Any ideas as to what happened??

I don't know what caused your fault code but I have had one occur before when manually downshifting to L. It goes into "limp home" mode, ie stuck in third, but clears itself if left for an hour or so. You can also reset it manually. There are various switches and solenoids (PNP switch, gear position sensor) that are sometimes faulty. Sorry I can't be of more help.

After i left it alone for about two hours it apparently cleared itself.

I took it for a ride and it was ok. no arrow light flashing..plus i just had my transmiision fluid flushed about three thousand miles ago. Well thanks for the response.
