Does anyone know what is ETS that come on in the Instument Panel? The engine runs erratic after or when it comes to an idle.

    Thanks for the info. I had that part off and did not know what to do with it, so
    I put it back. Could not find any part from places that I purchase from, so I will follow through with the web site that you gave. I also have the tool for retreving the codes. If I can get the part, I can install it. All I need is an understanding of whats going on.

    Electronic Throttle System. The ETM (same thing) is used instead of a cable from the gas pedal to the throttle body. They are known to go bad. Get the error codes checked, an autoparts store can do that.

    The dealer replacement is expensive. www.xemodex.com is a Canadian firm that replaces the internals and fixes it for good.
