Rear windows go about half way down S70

I already know that Volvo has safety features built in and I believe that child safety is the reason why the rear windows only go down about half way.
What I wondered is can you alter the preset settings somehow that allow the window to go down only this far?

You could cut a hole in the door frame :)

If you draw a straight line down using the rear of the window glass, you will find out why the window only rolls down half way.
