Taking the engine out?!?!? 850

My 96'850R was in an accident a few months ago. And now I have all of the tools to take it apart. I am having trouble getting the engine/trans out. Does anyone know what I am forgetting. The only thing still on underneath is the steering linkage.
Second I still have things forsale on the car to get in touch with it's much easier to call of text 757-286-4387 my name is Jason and the 850 R is black/tan saloon

Did you raise the hood to the complete verticle position? The steering gear should not get in the way, much.

Taking the engine out?!?!? 850

I finally got it out tonight just before it started to rain. Because of the accident the frame was bent and that's what was making the headachce. Now the problem is I can't get the cv axle out on the drivers side the other one came out very easy. Oh and I have found the flywheel but I don't know how to separate the trans and engine what size "Allen wrench" I don't know what it's called do I use to take it off.

For a guy who has only done brake jobs, oil changes, with out his dad right behind him taking out the engine has been a real big under taking.

Sounds like a huge project.

You will need a prybar or larg screwdriver to get the left axle out. It is held in with a small clip.

I don't have the nut sizes
