mpg turbo vs non turbo S40-V40

Hi, wanting to know what the difference in mpg is between s40 turbo and s40 non turbo? In market for new brick. thanks

mpg turbo vs non turbo S40-V40

I thought all North American S40s were turbocharged.
As for the mileage, our '01 gets about low-mid 20s around town and about 30 on the highway.

Like any turbocharged car, I'd imagine you wouldn't see a big difference in mpg compared to a normally aspirated car unless you drive it hard.

Both will get about the same, unless you tend to drive with a lead foot and engage the turbo a lot. Turbos allow for more comfortable highway merging.

I have a 2003 V40 and I get 25-26 in normal driving and 33 on the highway. I am please with the mileage and it is much higher than what was on the window sticker.
