NEED AN IN DASH CD PLAYER for '97 850 850 1997

I have a 1997 850 GLT and want to replace my current tape/radio with a taper/radio CD unit that fits in the dash. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

I have heard that you can get factory rebuilt units from a dealer for less than $200 after turning in your old unit.

I asked my dealer about that and the answer was no, they do not take trade ins and don't sell remanufactured units. If anyone knows of a dealer that does, please let me know.

My dealer has one reman SC-816 unit in stock right now. List is around $198...no sales tax here. I think the dealers want another SC816 unit tor be returned to them, but I've heard stories... You can email me off the board if you want info.

You want a Volvo SC-816 unit. They come up on eBay. There

is one there now with about 6 hours left in the auction.

Starting price is $440 (hey, thats not an auction).
