Gas tank capacity...XC '99? V70-XC70 99

I filled up my XC the other day after running it close to a complete empty...miles to 0 said 20. When I filled up it took 19.1 gals. I was surprised because my manual said it takes 17.6 or 18 (something like that I can't remember exactly right now and I'm too lazy to look it up but I know it wasn't 19). Does anyone know if Volvo increased the tank size and it missed the update? Misprint? I doubt that the pump gave a bad reading. Not really important but I'm curious if anyone knows.

    Your tank will not take anything more than 18 US gallons...

    Hi,

    The tank will handle around 17.5 gals. The rest comes from the hoses leading to the 2 tanks which can hold around 2 gals.
