Chinese axle shaft? Good or Bad?

When I was changing the oil Sunday, I discovered the right outside cv boot was torn in two, totally separated from itself. I considered replacing just the boot but ended up replacing the whole axle shaft with a new one from Advance. When I got it, I realized it was made in China. Any comments or opinions?
Should I replace the boots on the other side before they tear?

What happens on one side does not reflect what is going to happen on the other side. Wash the old boot with soap and water, let it dry and then coat it with Armoral - about the only good use for the product - to keep the boot from drying farther.

So long as the axle doesn't come loose, made in China lable will not hurt it. It probably won't last as long as OEM.

I take my axles to a local place that charges only 25 dollars to replace the boot. I have not heard very good things about this chinese axles.
