radio antenna broke at connector - repair options V70-XC70 2000

well, subject line says it all. my most recent brick - a 00 VR - has a really lousy sounding SC-901 and one of the problems, I believe, is the antenna connection. when I went to unplug it, it came loose. no surprise, really, as it was being held on by some duct tape.

how to repair it and/or how to replace? where does the antenna line lead from the back of the radio?

If you're adept at soldering, it's pretty easy to put a new connector on the end. Radio Shack used to have the connectors.

On second thought, soldering may be optional:

Thanks, Roger, that worked!~ fixed in less than 10 minutes.

I should add that this may not work forever, as it's a rather weak connection, but it works for now! I have radio once again.
