Where should I start to get more power out of my 2003 S60 2.5T AWD? S60 2003

Hello to all of you Volvo lovers, I'm new to this Forum and I'd like to get some advice in order to get more HP out of my very stock s60, I want just like every nuts out there to get maximum power with minimum budget! : )

Thank you

Your cheapest 'fix' is to mark and remove the prop shaft. That will give you FWD and get you about 20 more usable horses. Of course, you will want to put the shaft back on for the winter months, which is why you want to mark the shaft so it goes back on correctly and in balance.

Any other mods will cost you a lot of money with not so much gain. You should have bought a T5 version that can be chipped ($900), given a free flow exhaust($900), a 4 inch air filter mod from K&N, etc. to boost the bhp to 300.

Thank you Klaus for your quick intervention. Thanks but I'm not going to remove the prop shaft, it's one of the reasons I didn't buy a T5...couln't find one that was AWD, don't even know if Volvo makes it aside of the ''R'' version, because IMO : it makes no sense to have your source of power at your source of steering....but that's just me. If I read you correctly, my model can't be chipped?
Thank you for the quick reply Klaus

Do yourself a favor and check out IPD, the first name for speeding up Volvos.

Don't forget to check out the simple but effective turbo control valve on the right side of the page. Cheap and effective.

To get your car to stage zero, start replacing the vacuum lines with silicone lines.
