Power test for instrument cluster OUTSIDE of vehicle 850

Anyone know of a way to send power to the instrument cluster of a 850 without physically connecting it to the existing connections in the vehicle? I found one at a junkyard with 89,000 miles on it, otherwise identical to my current one (which need bulbs replaced, odometer gear replaced, etc.,) and wondering if it can be done to see if it's feasible to replace my current one with this one. Alternative is buy the odometer gear and bulb kit. Thanks.

There are 2 wiring bundles for the cluster, I do not have an EE degree and cannot read the wiring diagrams well enough to tell you which part of the sockets are the + and -.

It is not that difficult to lift the driver's side of the dash and remove the cluster. The hardest part is removing the vent grill to gain acess to the torx screws. Then unplug the current unit and plug in the junk yard one to see what works.
