I have owned my 03 xc70 now for 4 years and have never changed the pads and roders. I know on my 940 and 850 you had to have a special tool to get the calipers off. It was like a allen key and they both had different sizes. For the xc70 do you need anything to take off the calipers to change the roders?????

    You must be refering to the caliper slide pins that used a hex key for the 850. The newer cars use a torx driver, I believe a T40 is the correct size.
