Some low-rent rock-hauler dropped a boulder on my left headlight lens at 65 mph. Made I nice little hole, which I filled with a Home Depot Plumber's Adhesive/Sealant (amazing stuff!!!) to seal the hole. No problem. Then a month later my dear wife drove the Volvo at speed with headlights on through 8 to 12 inches of standing water. You know the rest. The hole turned into a crack running to both edges of the lens.

Where can I go to get just the lens at a reasonable price? I checked the local source, and the only difference between what they tried to do to me and armed robbery was they didn't show the gun.....

Anyone got a parts source they trust?

I had a similar mishap recently on my wife`s 850 only I happened to be driving the car when a semi passed & threw a rock my way. Anyway, here in Canada the dealer only sells the complete headlight assembly for $450.-what a money grab, huh? I did some searching around; IPD sells the the headlight lens for $165 USD & Borton Volvo out of MInneapolis sells the lens for $99+S&H internet price.

What about the clear headlight covers that IPD sells? Given the prices of the glass, I'm thinking about them.
