Big big problems rear shocks 850

Okay I am doing prep work for doing my rear shocks this weekend. And while I was taking the carpet out I noticed alotbof rubber on the passenger side shock and I believe this is from the bushings no big deal I will just replace it when I do the shocks. The big thing is this is were the fuel pump is and all of the wires come out from this side. There are four wires one red and three are black one of the black wires goes by it's self to a black connector and the other two black wires goes to a yellow connector. One of the wires that go into the yellow connector is cut in two. What does this do and what is it for??????????
