Hi,
I'm planning to flush my TC-80SC geartronic (V70D5) tranny.
I've heard one should reset the oil quality counter (TMC) after filling with new oil. Any DIY method known to do this? without VCT2000 etc. equipment.

    FYI, I've been told the counter is monitoring the time transmission oil temperatue is exceeding a preset value and setting alarm when/if limit achieved.
    Thus for normal user the reset is not needed when flushing trs oil and no alarm is set. only dealer can reset the counter if needed.
