Plastic 'droppings' into spark plug wells V70-XC70

What do you do about the plastic wiring cover of the coils peeling and dropping into the spark plug wells? I am afraid to take the plug out of one cylinder due to the prospect of tiny peel falling down onto the piston and into the combustion chamber. I think it is likewise difficult to clean that area around the thread and spark plug hole?
