Plastic 'droppings' into spark plug wells V70-XC70

What do you do about the plastic wiring cover of the coils peeling and dropping into the spark plug wells? I am afraid to take the plug out of one cylinder due to the prospect of tiny peel falling down onto the piston and into the combustion chamber. I think it is likewise difficult to clean that area around the thread and spark plug hole?

I don't know where Volvo found that junky covering. I replaced my injection wiring cover with vacuum line, which will never fall apart.

You could use some chewing gum on the end if a stick to pick up the larger pieces. If you have compressed air, you could blow it out. Use you imagination! Some small pieces falling into the cylinder will not hurt much due to melting and burning. But do try to clean it up as much as possible before removing any plugs.

Don't forget the common vacuum cleaner hose. Mine has a "spark plug recess" attachment. Kira
