Anyone with VADIS want to look up a number for me? I pulled an ECU from a 98 S70 GLT at a yard yesterday. First time I've found one. Our 98 V70 GLT never got the skip 'n dip upgrade and no one seems to be able to do it anymore, other than the dealers, who want an arm and a leg. I'm just trying to verify that the ECU is the right one. Number is 0261206272. Since ours is original, and doesn't match, I'm hoping this is the later 98 unit.

    Vadis doesn't have Bosch numbers in it, so it won't help you. It appears that the ECU might be '00+ . I also see an ebay link for that ECM being for turbos, which to me is odd. If it was in a '98 (and you are sure it was a '98) it might be worth trying.

    How much are is the dealer charging for the upgrade now?

    I'm not here to provide help, sorry. A while back you wrote about how you rigged a 240 Oil Temp and Oil Pressure sender together I was wondering about getting some more details from you, maybe pics. Thanks so much. Good luck on your quest.
