Air Noise - Driver Side S70 1998

Recently purchased a 1998 S70 Turbo Sedan...40K..so far I luv it!! Driving long distance and getting 30 miles per gallon highway, 23-25 city driving.

I have noticde htat driving at high speeds..+55, there is alot of wind noise near the outside mirror or drivers window...I checkde all the window and rubbre and it is pretty snug...could it be in the design? And it appears on hte passenger side as well?

    That problem occurred to my 1998 Volvo S70 six months ago too. When I first took in into the dealership, they adjusted the door seals. When I returned a few weeks later because that didn't solve the noise. Finally, Volvo Canada told them to replace the door seals on ALL four doors.

      Hey Kenny! What happened to the Focus, S600, X5, and VS70 T5? Did you get that new XC with the T6 transplant yet?

      I have the same problem with some wind noise, same car.

      The opinion from this board is that it is the mirror.

      I have not put tape over the joint to see.

      I just ignore it.
