Transmission 5 speed not Triptronic V70-XC70 2001

Purchased it spring of 2010 95K miles - it DOES NOT HAVE THE triptronic ( I think that what it is called) Flushed the tranny per IPD fluiush kit and Moble 3099 fluid - no problems - at about 102 k and when cold weather started it slips ONLY between 2nd and 3rd and only when warmed up- also it will NOT slip when it is put under a load- any help?
Thanks
Jeff

Probably has a bad B4 servo cover, not very uncommon for '01-02 S60/V70.
Ipd makes an updated version, inexpensive and not extremely hard to replace

Sounds more like a programming fault than a slipping torque converter. If it is hesitating between gears, that is a solenoid problem, and most of them can be fixed with software downloads at the dealer.
