Hi all

I have determined that the weird electrical sound when starting my car is coming from the dome light above.. sounds odd, but that is where I hear it.. any help please.. see below for previous posting..

So with this NYC winter my car has been either buried or stuck to the curb with ice.... I started it every 3 to 4 days to warm it up though did not drive it.. this went on for a few weeks... Now that I am using Bjorn once again I noticed when I start it there is a strange electrical noise, that is all I can describe it as.. it last for a few seconds and disappears.. the noise sounds like it coming from overhead for some reason..... this has occured the last few times I started him....

Any help much appreciated as always

The only motor above the dome light is for the sun roof. Start your car, flip the sunroof up and back down and see if that fixes it.

You can remove the dome light plastic by popping the clear lenses off and then removing the 2 torx screws. Then when you start the car, the source of the noise should be easier to pinpoint.
