S60 Dies at start S60 2006

My wife hit a pothole in her '06 S60 a few weeks ago. It's had problems ever since. It compressed rt lower motor mount, torque mount, destroyed rear rt tire and car died on impact. Before the mounts were repaired she couldn't drive far without the engine dying. After repair all seemed better. Then mysterious trouble starting began again. Power lost on freeway for short time too. Now car starts, revs to 1500 RPM then dies. Seems like any number of things could have shaken loose during impact. Any suggestions?

This may not be your symptom, but for what it's worth:
When my car would start & die immediately, it was the receiver ring for the (immobilizer) anti-theft device had failed. Essentially, what happens is that the fuel relay is activated in the start position, but not in the run position if the immobilizer does not work. So, it runs out of gas.

You won't get much help, because of the damage done and endless possibilities of the cause. If the check engine light does not come on when you loose power, then it is probably something in fuel delivery - fuel pump wiring, etc.

Because of the shock of the pothole and engine movement, you could have a loose ground wire on the driver's side, or, just a loose connector somewhere.
