Hello
My neighbor wants some help replacing the timing belt on her 05 v50 I am reluctant
to try because I have never worked on a car newer than 2000 though I have changed a t belt on a engine with vvt. Does Anyone know of any problems I could run into
other than the usual white block things? any computer codes that would send the car to the dealer on a flatbed

    Without a really good cam locking tool, I would also be hesitant to work on someone else's nice car. If you have any friends at the dealer or other good indy, ask about the new engines and how to get pressure off the VVTs along with any tricks they use.
