Replacing engine 850 1995

Hello all!
Looking to replace a blown engine for a 1995 850 wagon automatic non turbo. Found a 1996 850 sedan automatic non turbo. What should I look for with regards to compatibility?

Thanks

Keep your 1995 wiring harness so you will still have the OBDII boxes! The 1996 engine should drop right in with out any hassles.

Remember to replace the RMS, the PCV system and Tbelt/Sbelt while the engine is out.

96 motor is OBD2, 95 is not. Others will have to say how much, if at all, this is a problem. Erie Vo-vo will sell you a used motor.

    Good luck.
