Merry Christmas Everyone. Does anyone have an idea what's happening to my car?

I have a 1997 855R with 190k miles on it. Great car with a new problem. When starting from cold there is an increasingly loud vibration coming from the area of the automatic transmission. The noise is only there in Drive when stationary and goes away once the engine has reached operating temperature or when you shift to neutral. Should I be looking at the transmission or could it be some type of resonance? Some plate or something under there that has come loose? Any input , as always, is most welcome. Thanks Brickboard. Have you flushed with synthetic yet? It is supposed to be kinder than DEX and lets the pump operate smoother.
