850 Turbo Compressor Problem 850

1994 850 turbo .. A/C compressor won't come on. checked codes-all show o.k. It was working perfectly. Checked fuses also. Can't see any loose or broken wires. System has plenty of R134.

It could be that the pressostat switch failed, try jumping the wires. Pressostat is just infront of the firewall on the passenger side.

Other than that, there is an AC relay...

The AC relay is behind the glove box, of course. Any self respecting engineer would have placed it as far from the AC as possible, and, hidden it from any prying eyes.

At least it isn't too hot these days.

Merry Christmas,

Merry Christmas to you also,Klaus. The pressostat sw was the problem. I had the AC sw off when I first checked it. Many thanks to you. Hope I can repay the favor. First time I used brickbpard. Missing my long time friend Roger von Der Helen. Think he is watching from above to guide all the techs he taught over the years!
