My navigation system has stopped working and keeps a message "Cannot read CD" on the screen. (Also I have tried different CD"S with same message..) Its a Volvo build in system. Just trying to figure out what might be the problem before going to the dealer. Thanks Jim

    Your dealer will want to replace the entire system, for a small fee. The only option I can think of is a junk yard replacement, which will be less than the dealer.

    Your car is so new, there haven't been any similar reports. Please look on www.xc70.com for other nav problems. I still use one of those fold up paper things that are full of lines and hard for my wife to re-fold.

      Thanks Klaus. Today I removed the DVD unit and droped it by the local auto radio/DVD repair shop. They told me that it was not a local repair part and they will send it off to be rebuilt. ??????? Maybe this will work, it look like the ones out of salvage yards were expensive too. It sure looks like one of those trial and error problems.... I like the paper maps too.... Jim
