will 195-65-15 tires fit a 1993 850 w/o rubbing ? 850 1993

I know the oem size is 195-60-15 but I have a nice set of 195-65-15 tires for my son's 850 (1993 4 lug wheels) before I bring them in I just wanted to check with the real experts.

Try this question on the performance area of volvospeed - You will probably be amazed at some of the tire sizes some people are willing to use.

You shouldn't have a problem with rubbing. But check the speedometer error, you might be -1 mph from your current reading :>)

You're going to put tires that have a radius .4" bigger than stock. I'm thinking that you won't see any problems unless of course you are going to fully load the car.

Maybe someone else will chime in with a definite answer...

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?

I have been using these tires for several years, as in the area where I live I need the extra riding hight due to several street bumps. Only rubbing is when you full steer in tight maneuvers, and just a little bit.
On the other hand, you loose a little acceleration, and mileage in bumper to bumper traffic, and gain a liitle in open road driving.
