Just purchased a 2008 C70 with about 32K miles on it.
Looks to be a great car but immediately heard a trunk rattle which appears to be coming from the plastic trunk divider. In checking the divider, it seems to be "in place" but I'm almost positive this is the source of the noise. Dealer says that this is common with the hardtop convertibles. Any experience with this would be useful. Suggestions, recommendations, fixes . . . .

    Does it rattle with the top up, down, or both? If up, remove the plastic divider and take a short drive.

    If it is the divider, then you could 'tighten' it up by putting tape on the section where it fits into the slot.

    Let's hope it is not the top.
